Supercharger Kit Subset
The original design that ignited the 928 supercharger
market in 1999!
Aimed specifically at tuners, mechanics, and "advanced
do-it-yourselfers," this kit subset is to be used as the
basis of a supercharger conversion. That is, this
critical set of parts consists of:
1) Main/Crank Pulley,
2) Power Steering/Tensioner Pulley,
3) Vortech Supercharger Bracket.
The Supercharger Bracket is designed specifically for the
Vortech V2-SQ CCW rotation Supercharger. The Pulleys are
custom machined out of billet aluminum. The Bracket is
precision cut from aircraft-quality aluminum alloy, within
0.025" tolerances. Each part is hard-anodized black for
maximum life and protection against corrosion.
The included detailed Reference Manual covers in great
detail issues and solutions required to complete the
installation, including the oil supply/return system,
re-routing of vent hoses, fuel lines, air intake, tuning
procedures, etc. Note that these three parts are all that's
needed for the power-driven accessories (no spacers, no
additional tensioners, etc). This design allows the factory
power-steering tensioner to also set the tension for the
supercharger. The Manual's main focus is on 1985-1995
models, but has pointers for earlier models. Being a kit
subset, the only support available is the Reference Manual.
